Description

The STA Baby and Pre-School Swimming Award is an accredited and internationally recognised course that allows you to become a qualified Swimming Instructor/Teacher for young infants aged 3 months to 4 years. This course will teach you the essential baby swimming skills, the core holds, child development, and how to recognise the needs of different young ages to effectively deliver classes that suit the needs of both the parent/carers and the children. You will also cover health and safety, communication, safeguarding, motivation and feedback, how to effectively plan and deliver classes to a range of abilities. 

Course length: 3 days. 

Course cost: £425

Prerequisites

Learners must be at least 18 years old, and must hold the Safeguarding Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults online learning certificate or acceptable equivalent
