STA Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming

Description

The STA Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming is an accredited and internationally recognised course that allows you to become a qualified Swimming Instructor/Teacher. The course follows the Level 2 Award and will develop your knowledge to teach advanced learners. You will learn advanced swimming skills, develop your knowledge of the 4 competitive swimming strokes, and increase your skills in planning and delivering engaging and fun lessons that help intermediate to advanced learners progress. The Level 2 Certificate also provides you with knowledge and skills on teaching adult swimmers, ensuring you are confident in the differences between teaching children and adults.  

Upon completion of those course, you will be able to teach intermediate to advanced learners, as well as adults learners. 

Course length: 4 days.

Course cost: £425

Prerequisites

Learners must be at least 16 years old and hold an STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming.
