DLL NPLQ - Renewals

This course is for those employed by Denbighshire Leisure Ltd only.

The NPLQ Renewal course enables individuals who are currently NPLQ qualified to retain this certification. This is a 4 hour assessment by an experienced DLL trainer and is a full assessment of your lifeguard knowledge and skills. 

Prior to this renewal assessment, you must have access to an up-to-date copy of ‘The Lifeguard’ manual and have completed 20-hours of Continual Professional Development (CPD) from the date of your previous assessment.

CPD must cover content from the NPLQ syllabus:

• In-water swimming pool rescue skills (at least four hours)
• CPR (at least four hours)
• First Aid (at least four hours)
• Lifeguard theory (at least four hours)

Course duration: 3-4 hours over 1 day

Leaners must have completed 20 hours CPD prior to attending this course.
